Founded in 1932 during the Great Depression, the Culpeper Farmers’ Cooperative provided products and services to farmers in this area such as feed, fencing materials, etc. Now known as CFC Farm & Home Center, today’s cooperative has the same mission — to sell high quality products and services and maintain a strong financial and equity base for its members. While expanding services to the average homeowner, contractors and other businesses through retail outlets, we haven’t forgotten our core mission to the farmer. Besides six retail stores, CFC maintains two fertilizer plants and a feed mill for our farming base. The new name more accurately reflects our commitment to all rural residents that “Everyone can shop Co-op.”

With convenient hours and great customer service, everyone can shop at CFC Farm & Home Center. Mon-Wed, 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Thursday-Friday, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sat 7 a.m. - 4 pm.

Directions from Points North - Take Rt. 29S to Culpeper. Take first Culpeper exit. Turn right on Business 29S. Go approximately 1.5 miles. After passing Lowe's on the right, turn left into the parking lot.

Directions from Fredericksburg - Take Rt. 3W to Culpeper. Bear right at the second light next to Amoco on Business 29N. Continue down through the town on Main Street (stay to your right when crossing bridge). Go past Wal-Mart Supercenter, then take the first right after going through the light.

Site Activity - The theme will be “The Biggest Farm Animal Show in Town”. Visitors will enjoy seeing a variety of animals including the less common such as llamas from LLamarada Farm. There will be horsemanship and roping demonstrations throughout the day by Tony Hernandez. His skills are inspiring to watch. Culpeper 4H will be serving food and beverages including free milk and ice-cream donated by Md. Va. Milk Producers Cooperative. Grooming by Joann will give pet grooming demonstrations. The United States Equine Rescue League and Culpeper Humane Society will also have information on their work and pet adoption. Tour our newly remodeled store, grab a bite to eat and watch the animals in action. Check the farm tour website for updates on activities.

This farm will only be participating in the Farm Tour on Saturday.
